In today’s USA Today there was a long story about why the Trump campaign wants to press on full-speed-ahead. Jason Miller, a “senior advisor for the Trump campaign” said that he wanted such campaign groups as Black Voters for Trump for Trump, Latinos for Trump, and Women for Trump to continue aggressively on behalf of their candidate. For Trump to have such support would be like Biden having such groups as Qanons for Biden, AK47 Owners for Biden, or Abortion Clinic Bombers for Biden enlisted to express enthusiasm from very odd coalitions. There might be such groups for both candidates, but they certainly do not represent a very large percentage of the electorate. There is something disingenuous about accepting help from such dubious people supporting any candidate. If campaigns feel compelled to receive assistance from such organizations, they show themselves to be in deep trouble.
