The Best Possible Outcome of the 2024 Presidential Election

The Best Possible Outcome of the 2024 Presidential Election

(With No Explanation for These 8 Suppositions)

1  Donald Trump runs for the GOP presidential nomination, and early on the Republicans make it clear they will not nominate him.

2  Trump, being Trump, therefore begins a campaign as an independent, provided he does not first end up in prison.

3   Joe Biden announces soon that he will not seek the Democratic nomination.

4 Younger, more vigorous and therefore less dicey Democrats than Joe Biden start campaigning for the nomination, which under current ridiculous circumstances takes two or more years to seize.

5   Ron DeSantis wins the GOP nomination (which is very likely to happen, because he already has hundreds of millions of dollars in his campaign fund, and he can easily acquire perhaps a billion more from hard-core conservatives), but in the election, Trump siphons off millions of otherwise predictable Republican votes from DeSantis.

6   The best possible candidate is elected to the presidency in 2024, but at this point we have no idea who that might be, besides which DeSantis could actually fail to get the nomination, and a much more worthy and palatable Republican might be nominated and perhaps elected, which, were that to occur, might be a great blessing to the health and wellbeing of the USA as well as the Republican Party.

7    Political polarization miraculously evaporates.

8    God moves in a mysterious way His wonders to perform. Amen.
